Did you ever heard of Linux Presentation Day (LDP). If not, I will tell you about.
I was not aware of the LPD until I recently discovered it by accident at https://l-p-d.org which which states
The Linux Presentation Day (LPD for short) is an event concept with the idea of organizing events around the LINUX topic worldwide on a key date in order to introduce and explain LINUX to interested visitors. The motto is “Linux to look at and touch”.
As a huge fan of Linux and somebody which always try to convince the people around me to switch to Linux, I find the concept of the LPD very appealing. There are regularly events which you can find at https://linux-events.org - these are mainly in Germany 🇩🇪 and Switzerland 🇨🇭. As Swiss I take particular interest in the ones happening in Switzerland. There is currently one Swiss Group, the Linux Presentation Day in Bern. Mentioning this I want to make you aware of the the upcoming online event the 15. of May 2021
Der Linux Presentation Day ist eine Veranstaltungsreihe, an der sich Interessierte aus erster Hand über Linux und seine Einsatzmöglichkeiten auf dem eigenen Computer informieren können. Er findet im Rahmen des europaweiten Linux Presentation Day zweimal jährlich zeitgleich in verschiedenen Orten in der Schweiz statt.

Mit folgenden LugBE-Beiträgen:
